The System runs all the electronics. TVs, cars, payphones, microwaves - they’re all part of The System. Including the mandatory compliance chip in your frontal cortex.     

When The System needs something done, it puppets people. It speaks through any nearby electronic item, and gives orders. Those orders may not be disobeyed. Attempting to disobey will forfeit your continued right to dwell.

You are a normal joe in a dystopian future city run by The System. The kibble vending machine outside your housing block cancels your transaction and tells you to apprehend a chromeganger. You’re a cyberpuppet.
